Overwraps avoid condensation within the bivvy and increase isolation. This means that the bivvy stays warmer in cold conditions and stays cooler when it is warm. EHMANNS overwraps overlap the bivvy front by approximately 30 cm. this antechamber increases the room you have to store wet and dirty items.
